Friday, May 5 – The Hills
Loop hike along the Savignano hills to admire and connect with nature and its wonders.

Saturday, May 6 – The Badlands
A day outdoors in the beautiful valley enclosed in an embrace of gullies typical of the foothills of Modena and Bologna.
Excursions and workshops with clay by the “Il Germoglio” Educational Farm. Conclusion of the day with possible participation in the opening of Geosite No. 34.
9:00 am | Welcome to the Farm.
9:30 a.m. | Presentation of the day. dedicated to Calanques and Clay with tasting of homemade juices and drinks.
10:00 a.m. | Start hike to the Calanchivo Basin with observation of the surrounding flora and fauna.
12:30 | Lunch with farm products.
2 p.m. | Clay workshop.
3:30 p.m. | Refreshment break and possibility to leave by van to Geosite No. 34 of the Regional Cadastre on the top of the Calanchivo Basin where its inauguration will be held in the presence of the Mayor of Savignano sul Panaro.
After the opening is over, return and greetings.

Sunday, May 7 – The River
A day exploring landscapes, traditions and archaeological finds on the Eastern bank of the Panaro River.
We will get in touch with two sports-recreational activities such as the ancient game of tumbling and the noble discipline of archery. Easy walk with concluding lunch.
8:30 | Arrival and buffet breakfast.
9:00 a.m. | Presentation of the day’s program by Morena Orsini of “Etcetera,” AIGAE guide and welcome greeting by the Archery Association and Perla Verde Ruzzola Association.
9:30 a.m. | Walk along the Eastern bank of the Panaro River with suggestions and stories about the River: until arrival at the discovery point of the Prehistoric Elephant. The route will continue with numerous stops to admire the nature of the area and the various elements of industrial archaeology that tell the rich history of Savignano’s productions. Visit at Az. Agricola Vezzali Maurizio to taste some of Italy’s finest cherries. This will be followed by a visit to the family vinegar factory.
12:30 p.m. | Lunch by volunteers from the Ruzzola Camp.
15:00 | Start of sports activities where instructors will be available for those who want to try their hand at the practice of the above-mentioned sports in the dedicated fields.
