A wonderful expanse of<\/strong> variegatedly colored tulips<\/strong> enchants you as soon as you catch sight of it, and the desire to dive among the various rows to observe them suddenly overtakes you.<\/p>\n

The poetry of nature is expressed at Tulipark in Bologna through as many as 500,000 tulips<\/strong> of 115 different varieties, and visitors will be able to pick<\/strong> a number of them themselves<\/strong> and have an enchanting bouquet<\/strong> made to take home.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tulipark is thebrainchild of three Sicilian brothers-David <\/strong>, Filippo and Gaetano-owners of a family flower business, who founded first the Tulipark in Rome, then the one in Bologna and most recently the one in Spoleto.<\/p>\n

Aimed at raising awareness among its visitors with respect to sustainability<\/strong> and the protection of natural and cultural heritage, the park offers a guided tour to discover the history of the tulip and all its characteristics.<\/p>\n

Visitors, equipped with a red bucket, will be able to freely pick<\/strong> their favorite tulips<\/strong> using the so-called U-pick method, and then have them packaged into an enchanting bouquet at the Incarto gazebo. Cut bulbs<\/strong> will be donated to charity<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Among the many tulips will be the unusual black t<\/strong>ulips, the red-colored Rudolf tulip<\/strong>, and the pink-green-colored Groenlander<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tulipark also features a scaled windmill<\/strong> made by a Dutch carpenter, a maxi Klompen<\/strong> by an Italian artist, small wooden clogs<\/strong> in which to stick your feet and take photos, and a stage<\/strong> made from recycled pallets<\/strong> offered by Bologna Pallet.<\/p>

Tulipark will feature a food truck<\/strong> with typical Dutch delicacies<\/strong>, including the very tasty Frikandellen, Amstel beer and other beverages, Dutch tea with cookies.<\/p>\n

There are also several proposed activities of entertainment<\/strong>: various games for children and adults<\/strong>, such as BorenGolf, cheese toss, and planting bulbs. “Plant it”<\/strong> is thechildren’s initiative<\/strong> through which they are encouraged to respect the environment and are taught how to plant and grow a tulip.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
